With artistic direction from Twelve Literary and Performing Arts Incubator, “The Youth Challenge Hip Hop Experience” showcases the creative arts of Hip Hop culture created by YC’s kids and teen volunteers. Visual art, adaptive dance, spoken word, and emcee artistry are on display at Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art, Saturday, May 20, 1-4pm. This event is free and open to the public.
Founded in 1976 during the formative decade of Hip Hop Culture, Youth Challenge brings together young people with physical disabilities and teen volunteers who inspire each other through adapted sports, recreation and social growth activities.
The Youth Challenge Hip Hop Experience is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
